Kathrin Spaniol and Morgan Nardi

Kathrin Spaniol and Morgan Nardi have been collaborating in different constellations for twenty years. With their first project VON ROSEN, DA BEIßT SIE AB, they won first prize at the Luxembourg “Tendances 2002” choreographic competition. They have been working together continuously since 2016, in 2016 with the production FLOP, in 2018 with DELUXE, in 2019 with DAS GEHEIME PROJEKT, in 2020 with LAUDATIO, and with DIE FÜHRUNG in 20022, co-produced by FFT Düsseldorf. They have been granted a three-year support by the Cultural Department of the City of Düsseldorf in 2022, running until 2024. As part of this grant, they produced the SCHATTENBLICK video series (2022). They have been nominated for this year’s Support Prize of the City of Düsseldorf and the Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf.

Their work is marked by a special treatment of spaces in friction between narration and formal disassociation.
