People have been watching the skies for millennia. Space may be the last unexplored country left to dream of. And yet this distant cosmos has never been as intertwined with our bodies and perceptions as it is today: Corporations are already planning to exploit extraterrestrial resources; our mobile phones send signals to space-faring satellites every second. But can the universe remain a hope-filled space in our exhausted world? Can we break the dynamics of plunder and exploitation and direct our gaze towards alternative narratives for our inescapable encounter with space? The audience is invited to drift away amid a room of lights and loudspeakers within a walk-in stage setting. No Man’s Sky is a science fiction thought voyage, an imaginary concert reshaping spacetime, simultaneously spaceship and lullaby.
