Bread. Freedom. Dignity. Social Justice. These words, borrowed from a slogan repeated by protestors in several countries in 2011, form the starting point of A Manual for Togetherness. The manual has been written collectively by various people, and shares proposals on how we may live together.

Inside a performance space, there are a few beds, a table or two, chairs, mats, a kitchen, several cameras, an editing table. From Friday night to Sunday morning, the three artists and their guests together, sit, sleep, eat, discuss elements of A Manual for Togetherness, the state of things, their doubts, their impasses, their questions, at different hours guests arrive. What unfolds could become a living theatre or cinema, on some occasions moving into intensities of performativity and on others toward the most everyday gestures or activities, cooking, washing dishes, brushing teeth, resting or sleeping. The entire process is enacted, embodied, woven, improvised in the time of its unfolding.
