schrödingers cats
Sound-Performance Music & Sound Theatre & Performance
Meow meow I am a cat, not a dog or a rat. Meow meow we are cats, and that is that. No deep meanings, truth or facts. madcatlady, 2012
I feel like I spend too much time on the internet TheCapelessCrusader, 2017
Cats are quite mundane. Cats are pop! The internet is stuffed with them. Cats made both quantum physician Erwin Schrödinger as well as musical theatre composer Andrew Lloyd Webber equally famous. The Sailor Tune group devotes their narrative to these creatures that are so loved and so hated at the same time. The artists invite us into a sound space in which the deepest frequencies of a purr resonate. Based on those tones, they take us on a journey that leads us from the world-famous “Schrödinger’s cat” to the internet’s meme culture.
