once upon a time there was a future
Performance Social/Urban Movements Theatre & PerformanceHow will we live in the future? As part of a supportive global community devoid of national borders, without arduous toil? With capsule nutrition, excursions into space, nursing care robots and in-house nuclear facilities?
People always held a desire to prophesy the future. Be it through stargazing, oracles, the forces of fantasy, or by means of empirical futurology. These concepts of future always mirror the concerns and hopes of the present. When the future then eventually becomes real, these notions about the future become documents of the past.
In once upon a time there was a future, the äöü group and choreographer and performer Jung Sun Kim take their audience along for a voyage between the ages.
