Embrace the suck

Performance Social/Urban Movements Theatre & Performance

On stage: The three holy queens in a supermarket. This is about art, about life – about everything, somehow. Isn’t this always the case in theatre? Everyone has got their own task, and we watch the artists work. But suddenly, everything starts faltering, everything is breaking apart. The thrill is gone. Stop this theatre! When the playing stops in this piece, the fun just really starts. Identities, roles, and ascriptions are shuffled and distributed anew. Everything is free to be challenged again, to be renegotiated with fun, dispute, and humour. According to their motto Embrace the Suck, S. Rudat and team go where it hurts, as they dedicate themselves to controversial topics, unafraid to be vulnerable. A physical theatre performance wherein the sparks fly, and which is actually about something.
