(i)dentityteam

The (i)dentityteam works in integrated processes structured by interest and competency instead of hierarchy. Their works are poetic, political, sensual, and true to the artistic impulse. A respectful handling that strengthens individual members’ boundaries as well as a vulnerable addressing of conflicts and controversial social topics are as much part of their work practice as the artistic labour itself. Their previous works “Defining (i)dentity” and “Shame you WHAT?!” were shown at FAVORITEN Festival Dortmund as well as at various other venues and festivals. From 2020 to 2022, (i)dentityteam was part of the FREISCHWIMMEN theatre network; the company currently receives the Conceptual Grant of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2023 until 2025.
