The Argonause

18.05.2025 – 18.05.2026

Travel signifies adventure, the desire for the unknown, a longing for the world. At the same time, we are acutely aware of the destructive effects of mass tourism on climate and environment. We are dedicating a monthly programming series in different formats to this topic: The FFT, together with Chez Company, is embarking on an excursion that invites you to a simultaneous exploration of the beginnings of tourism as well as climate-neutral opportunities that symbolise a new, responsible desire to travel.

At the centre lies the Rhine, one of Europe’s largest rivers, full of stories from its source to its estuary. Loosely based on the Argonaut myth, we bring together people with a wide range of experience and expertise to find out what is important and valuable to us. Cast off! We start in May with a happening on the Rhine that is performance, ship christening, and departure, lie down on the couch of climate psychologist Lea Dohm in June and later read from postcards on the road. Keep an eye out for it all!
