Monsterrrr!

Physical Comedy for all from the age of 7 Young FFT Theatre & Performance

Alarm! A monster! A hideous, evil monster! With nasty claws, ghastly bristles and horns. It’s disgusting and gross and… very, very lonely.
So what?! Serves it right. It’s its own fault!
But wait, the monster isn’t so bad after all: it’s big and strong, tough and clever. It has nothing to hide and doesn’t give a damn about rules and decency. It’s exciting, different, funny and not a bit boring. Do you dare to shake the monster’s hand?

cast

TOBOSO develops theatre experiences for young and mixed-age audiences that aim to open up authentic realms of discovery. TOBOSO values subtlety and ingenuity, good humour and an intensely physical approach to characters and materials. Its production venue and artistic home is Maschinenhaus Essen / Theatre of Future Generations.

The New Zealand performer Trygve Wakenshaw studied at Ecole Philippe Gaulier and is internationally renowned for his solo works. He combines pantomime, physical comedy and cheeky idiocy—he is mad, daring, uniquely eccentric and a predestined “master of monsters”.
