Inner City Parcours
urban walk Talks & Workshops Social/Urban Movements
At the joint invitation of the Zentralbibliothek and FFT, three artist duos create a performative parkours that winds from KAP1, the former main post office at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz 1, to Worringer Platz:
Laura Strack & Jan Lemitz refer to the supposedly historical figure of the flâneur, for whom the street opens up multilayered possibilities for reading. Katja Stuke & Oliver Sieber will develop a chapter of their current work „Vertical City“. Marie Gavois & Michel Klöfkorn transform the city into an experimentation field by means of a sound intervention.
With the use of photography, moving images, text and sound, the works engage in lively interrelationships with the city. In this way, the participants encounter the sensual and material levels of urban space in a distinct manner.
