Zwei Frauen stehen und sitzen auf einer Treppe vor transparenter Folie, eine liest laut vor.

Berlin, 2005. Hatun Sürücü is murdered by her brother in broad daylight. The last thing she hears before her death: “Do you repent of your sins?”This question does not fade away with her last breath. It echoes on and finds its way into the lives of others who are fighting the same battle.
2025. in liebe, (in love,) tells the story of two friends caught between hope and despair, between dreams and a reality torn apart. A letter turns up. Suppressed memories and unspoken truths come to light. When the façade of supposedly moral standards falters, stories come to life.
The stage fills with words that were never spoken, with decisions made under duress and with the deep pain that remains when love meets hate.

cast

Ever since its founding in 1993, c.t.201 has developed unconventional theatre productions that address socially relevant issues and provide a variety of directors and theatre professionals with a basis for their artistic work. What unites our productions is that we endeavour to seek and find new ways of getting in touch with the audience in order to produce communicative theatre. To this end, we adopt various perspectives and attempt to understand diverse mindsets. Our work is thus based on an open-minded, experimental, inclusive and thematic approach.
