A noise. A racket. A row – that is what some might say. And so it shall sound deep into the night. This disturbance of the peace unveils new concert series dröhnen. Curated by Felix van Holt, this platform will, from now on, regularly present loud, independent, and experimental music by young bands from all corners, from all points of the compass.
When the sun sets behind Hamburg’s brick facades and the neon lights of the kiosks flicker, the time has come for the soundtrack of the night – as delivered by Dunkle Straßen. The band from the Hanseatic city provides a breath of fresh air to the post punk scene, encapsulating the spirit of urban life with their driving beats and bleak, melancholy lyrics: raw, honest, and damned authentic.
