Fallon Mayanja is a renowned sound artist, performer, DJ and curator known for her works that combine sound, voice, and movement, all the while challenging traditional notions of art and identity.

She holds a post diploma degree in Sound Arts from the Lisbon Beaux-Arts as well as a master’s degree from INA GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) and has firmly established herself as a trailblazing force in the sound and performance art scenes. In her newest work, “To The Fullest”, which was premiered at DE SINGEL International Arts Centre in Antwerp, Mayanja researches alternative listening practices, inspired by Julius Eastman’s composition The Holy Presence of Joan d’Arc and decolonial ecological theory. In this immersive performance, she merges sound, voice, and movement to create speculative narratives that present different future possibilities while inviting the audience to a deeply sensory experience.
