The Argonause reads travel diaries and postcards
Talk Talks & Workshops Social/Urban Movements
Travel signifies adventure, the desire for the unknown, a longing for the world. At the same time, we are acutely aware of the destructive effects of mass tourism on climate and environment. We are dedicating a monthly programming series in different formats to this topic: The FFT, together with Chez Company, is embarking on an excursion that invites you to a simultaneous exploration of the beginnings of tourism as well as climate-neutral opportunities that symbolise a new, responsible desire to travel.
Now it’s summer and everybody is someplace else. By the sea or in the mountains. Taking the plane to Mallorca or rather head for somewhere far away? Looking for the distance nearby? In this chapter, we scrutinise the longing to travel and travel itself: Where do we travel, and why? Can we travel vicariously or by proxy? The Argonausen read travel diaries and postcards of their fellow travellers. Send us a message from your holiday destination or travel with us in your head! To post@argonause.de
