Dance for everyone aged 3 and up Young FFT Dance
A sphere rolls across the stage, or is it rather a planet, an ark, or a cocoon?
Between the folds and wrinkles of fabric, the waves of chiffon scarfs and silk, a dancer slides. The audience experiences how a dancer undergoes a metamorphosis: Flourishing, breaking free, discovering, and, finally, flying. CHIFFONADE speaks of emancipation, of a child’s pupa, growing without losing the inquisitive gaze upon the world surrounding them.

Teatro 4Garoupas was founded in the year 2000 by actress Bebê de Soares and director Arno Kleinofen; Eugênia Labuhn has been an ensemble member since 2021. The freelance ensemble produces children and youth theatre in Hürth and Curitiba (BRA), working with a rotating cast while touring internationally. As German partner of projects SPARSE Plus and Perform Europe, Teatro 4Garoupas transports contemporary performances into rural areas and explores sustainable, inclusive theatre formats. At their focus lie participative works, ecological responsibility and border-crossing collaborations – in accordance with the objective to rethink touring and audience development in Europe.
