Horizontaler Gentransfer is about transference beyond traditional forms of inheritance. This young punk band explores fashion, infection and migration using text, music and visual elements. The group name refers to an experimental interbreeding “between the species”. In this way, they intermingle punk with K-pop and art pop.

Beethoven meets contemporary dance: The Rothko String Quartet and dancer and choreographer Tian Gao create a danced concert about questions of time and transience. The focus is on Ludwig van Beethoven’s „Great Fugue“. The evening relates Beethoven’s mysterious work to baroque and contemporary perspectives.

ANT!FOTO is a series of exhibitions and events by Katja Stuke & Oliver Sieber, running since 2010. At the centre of this edition lie artistic and photographic positions that deal with the topics of work and product, with different spaces as well as with the meaning and orchestration of food.

In this edition of The Argonause, we will direct our gaze towards the Rhine as a habitat, international border river and bearer of ecological tension between environmentalism and economic use – with voices from different regions.

When the four protagonists accidentally lock themselves out on the roof a Berlin house, there is no escaping the mess.
