Everyone aged 16 or above may vote in the municipal election in September. For those who are younger, there is the U16 Election! Horizontaler Gentransfer

Punk meets K-Pop
Concert

Horizontaler Gentransfer is about transference beyond traditional forms of inheritance. This young punk band explores fashion, infection and migration using text, music and visual elements. The group name refers to an experimental interbreeding “between the species”. In this way, they intermingle punk with K-pop and art pop.

As part of the 2025 Düsseldorf Festival

Beethoven meets contemporary dance: The Rothko String Quartet and dancer and choreographer Tian Gao create a danced concert about questions of time and transience. The focus is on Ludwig van Beethoven’s „Great Fugue“. The evening relates Beethoven’s mysterious work to baroque and contemporary perspectives.

When the four protagonists accidentally lock themselves out on the roof a Berlin house, there is no escaping the mess.
