In the </A “Manifesto” of= {every} One.s Own> installation, the visitors individually encounter an archive of texts, sounds, images, and a stage equipment ensemble. Together with an artificial intelligence, they put the puzzle pieces of past fights into new contexts, searching for options open to collective political action in times of codes and computers.

inispired by motifs from irmgard keun’s novel “Child of All Nations”Ten-year old Kully and her parents flee from the Nazis. Their journey takes the small family all across Europe. They keep encountering the same questions: Who is my friend? Who is my foe? Where do I belong? And: Who will stand up for me if I belong nowhere? The protagonist’s exile narrative is complemented by the experience of people who themselves fled to Germany when they were children.

Baustelle Commune (Construction Site Commune)
The publication Baustelle Commune. Henri Lefebvre und die urbane Revolution von 1871 provides access to key passages from the text written by philosopher and urban space theorist Henri Lefebvre on the 1871 Paris Uprising for a German-speaking audience. On this evening, the authors will discuss Lefebvre’s observations on urbanism as well on revolutionary theory, with an eye towards contemporary changes in the city, in public space, and in urban community.
