Schönheit (Beauty)
Choreographers Kathrin Spaniol and Morgan Nardi again take us along for a performative walk – into the mythical and legendary Aaaper Forest this time. It becomes the site of post-apocalyptic scenarios and the exploration of the hidden world of mushrooms. We wander to the Frauensteine, eavesdropping on dystopian tales, and encounter an eerie reality – gloomy and fascinating, poetical, and disturbing.

SPECTRALITIES
The fifth edition of the Recorded Sound Festival is devoted to “Spectralities”. Ten artists from the experimental music field and electro-acoustic sound art will present their pieces during the evening – subsequently facing the judgment from the expert jury and the audience.

THE THREEPENNY OPERA
The Threepenny Opera is very probably Bertolt Brecht’s most-performed piece. The story revolving around Mack The Knife, Jack Peachum and his daughter Polly combines snappy social criticism, delight, and enjoyment. Accompanied by a five-piece band of ensemble members, SeTA, under the direction of Kathrin Sievers, shows us that the shark has such teeth and how a ship with eight sails and with fifty cannons bombards the town.

In May, and by way of exception, we will invite you to the bar on the second Tuesday of the month.

Datscha
Where are those shared escapes from everyday life, where are those divergent ideas of community? At the edge of the city, between the pony farm, the motorway, and the emergency shelter, there lies the Datscha. Director and visual artist Marlin de Haan and her team abduct the audience to one of the last remaining Düsseldorf oases.
Sa 14.10.

Transitions
Transitions deals with current political liberation movements and the emancipation from inner constraints and boundaries. Young people with immigration biographies perform (auto)fictional stories and dialogue on the topic of freedom.

Woyzeck
Marie and Margret are best friends. They share a flat and their lives, too, even when Franz Woyzeck, their neighbour, joins and falls in love with Marie. Marie and Woyzeck: That is a love that brings together two very different people, until it starts shifting, imperceptibly at first, before ending in savage violence.

Get Over It
Get Over It is a queer DJ collective from Düsseldorf that has taken it upon themselves to turn the dancefloors in Düsseldorf inside out with hot sounds, while normalising a more inclusive and safer rave. DJs seren.a, MarXa, and Magical Grrrl deliver house and techno tracks with girly pop vibes to the FFT Foyer. Queers and FLINTA* to the front, the event is open to all.
