Montserrat Gardó Castillo and Petr Hastik have taken on Brutalism – a post-war architectural style that, with its exposed and unpainted concrete, seems an architectural dream to some, while it appears monotonous and unliveable to others. The “Brutology” performance perceives the legacy of Brutalism not as wreckage but rather as a chance for a new thinking. Poetically, it sketches out new designs of the future on its ideological ruins.

Their perspectives are united by the fact that they all fled their home countries and now live in Germany. With the means of electronic music, storytelling and video projections, a performance for everyone aged 14 and up is created.
