ghostlike

Performance Young FFT Theatre & Performance

Ghosts are everywhere – in the guise of memories, of “unfinished business”, of unfinished things, obsessions, or traumas experienced. They appear as cold shivers, knock pictures from walls or hide beneath floating bed sheets. We are being haunted by persons, ideas, and things that are no longer, are not yet, or never were. In ghostlike, STERNA | PAU conjure up those ghosts to practice confronting the subconscious, the suppressed or the unsolved, together with the audience. Inspired by rogue-like video games, the performance consists of several changing repetitions during which the audience, together with the performers, may practice encountering the ghosts in repetitions. We are invited to participate by means of sensors and control elements.
