Keren Levi

Drunter und Drüber

Tanz Young FFT Dance

Two friends discover a treasure map during a pillow fight. It leads them into a fantastic, upside-down world. Everything flows there: Movement and images encounter one another in the form of dance, live video, and animation. A wondrous, adventurous treasure hunt unfolds before the audience’s eyes. Drunter und drüber is a story about friendship and the power of fantasy.

This performance marks the first time Keren Levi develops a dance piece for children at the FFT. The idiosyncratic performances of the Netherlands-based choreographer combine several art forms and media. Music, dance, and video play important roles therein. So, it is high time for young audiences to dive into Keren Levi’s world of movement and images. The FFT produces the piece with North Rhine-Westphalian dancers who collaborate with Keren Levi. The staging is an offer to families, daycare centres, and primary schools, and it will regularly be on the bill during the 2022/2023 season.
