Alice im Wunderland

A play on and with reality loosely based on Lewis Carroll

Performance Young FFT Theatre & Performance

How did this even happen? The world is suddenly on its head. It has become unhinged. Rules that applied are no longer valid. A young person named Alice, so curious and brave, sets out on a journey that is not always easy: At times, Alice turns infinitesimally small, feeling powerless and lost. Then, she becomes so gigantically large, she barely fits into this world any longer. Everything changes constantly. Only one thing remains, which is the question one asks again and again throughout life: Who am I, really? A humorous theatre play with body, light, and illusions. Without language. Full of marvelous wonders!

cast

FETTER FISCH – Performance I Theatre, based in Münster, have been developing experimental theatre productions for children, youths, and adults since 2006. The development phase of their pieces is always accompanied by intense research work on one topic, one site, or one text. Depending on the production, Fetter Fish collaborates with artists from various genres, experts, scientists, and researchers, as well as with children and youths. Out of the collected material, from the respective research field, theatrical translation emerges – innovative, body-oriented, lustful, powerful performances that dare to venture into risk with their aesthetic concepts, seeking a direct contact with their audiences. The interaction with the spectators is an integral part of every staging, as is the pursuit of a space of communal experience. Impetuously. Immediate.
