Saskia Rudat

Saskia Rudat, born 1991 in Dresden, works as a performer, choreographer, director and author. After studying psychology in Jena, she completed her training in „Physical Theatre“ at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Her artistic skills and interests range from music, text, directing and acting to mask, puppet and object theater, performance art, dance and acrobatics. In her choreographic work, she is particularly interested in the boundaries of dance and theater; in rhythm and contrasts, as well as a personal yet clownish performer attitude. She has been a founding and board member of the Physical Theatre Network since 2017 and an active member of the cheers for fears initiative since 2014.
