Jan Lemitz

Jan Lemitz, born 1971 in Düsseldorf, lives Duisburg and works as a photographer and visual artist. He studied photography at the University of Brighton and Research Architecture at Goldsmiths College in London. His projects take landscape, architecture and infrastructure as the starting point for media-archaeological research. Since 2017, Jan has been part of the research project „City as Factory“ at the FFT, which, on the occasion of the upcoming relocation of the theater, deals with the history of the future location and inner-city transformation processes in the Bahnhofsviertel and its peripheries.
