Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft (APiG)

Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft (APiG) is based in Hamburg, produces stage plays, and initiates collaborative spaces. Antje Pfundtner was the first choreographer to receive the Conceptional Grant from the Department for Culture and the Media of the City of Hamburg in 2012/2013 to fund the establishment of her society.

Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft (APiG) is made up of the fixed core team around, among others, Anne Kersting (dramaturgy and curator), Jana Lüthje (distribution and company development), Hannah Melder (production management, public relations, and marketing) and Antje Pfundtner (choreography, dance, and artistic direction) as well as of revolving guests and colleagues.

Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft (APiG) were awarded the George Tabori Main Prize in 2016 and also received the DER FAUST theatre award in 2020 in the category “Direction for Children and Youth Theatre”. Additionally, APiG were honoured with the Deutscher Tanzpreis for “exceptional artistic development”. Apart from her stage cooperations with Kampnagel Hamburg, K3 – Zentrum für Choreographie, FFT Düsseldorf, HELLERAU – Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Dresden and Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft develops formats of artistic sharing: She currently initiates the TISCHGESELLSCHAFTEN, an assembly initiative for networking, sharing resources, and the stabilisation of knowledge exchange.

The dialogue platform, scheduled to run for three years, has been enabled through funding by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund and will take place in regular intervals, in different constellations and at different spaces.
